PowerBid is an easy to use software solution for bidding and actualizing television commercials, music videos and short form production. PowerBid conforms to the AICP guidelines for commercial cost estimating. PowerBid is available for both Mac and Windows versions of Microsoft Excel.
You don't have to know Excel to use PowerBid. If you're familiar with the AICP bid form, you already know how to use PowerBid!
Since the introduction of our first bidding template in 1986, our users' suggestions and comments have been incorporated into each successive generation of PowerBid, making it the most versatile and dependable solution for bidding and actualizing.
The Production Resource
The Production Resource, based in Los Angeles, California, was established in 1986 for the purpose of creating software tools for commercial producers.
Our first bidding template for Microsoft Excel was originally developed in 1986 for our own use. Word soon spread and the LA production community began demanding copies for themselves. Released under the name MacBid it was the first full featured, reasonably priced bidding template for Microsoft Excel. When Microsoft released Excel for Windows we released PcBid.
Responding to feedback from producers around the world, we developed a fully cross platform solution for bidding and actualizing and in 1992 released PowerBid.
Today PowerBid has become the de facto software standard for bidding and actualizing. We’ve never lost sight of our original mission and continue to respond to suggestions and feedback from our users, ensuring they have the exact tools they need. PowerBid is currently in release 7.0.
